5 Reasons Why People Hate Apple

Each company has its opponents, but Apple gets people worked up really. Some people hate Apple much more than the Nazis or hate Smurfs. You leave comments on blogs bad Apple. Based on my observations of widespread species, the Apple haters fall into five categories. If you have an Apple-haters, the fit of these categories to you?

They believe that Apple have bought, their individuality. You see yourself as a bold stroke for her individuality and freedom by refusing to buy Apple. They use words such as “brainwashing” and “Lemmings” to describe fans of Apple.

These enemies often have very bad grammar and spelling. Many of them seem to read and write. They often also alleged problems with alternative sexuality, that the Apple fans of acts of love with Steve Jobs, who have until recently in many states illegal.

If this is a good reason to hate Apple? No, it’s stupid. Your choice of consumer goods, says nothing about their individuality. The real person does not care what the herd does not, he does what is right for him. Sometimes this means forging a unique path, but other times, what is the masses not only a fine. If your self-esteem is tied to consumer goods to buy, so you no individuality at all – you are a Body of Landru, deceive yourself that you are a special snowflake unique.

In addition, the Mac OS has only 5% of the market, Windows is still running in more than 90% of desktops. The iPhone is only the third most popular cell phone in the U.S., running Android and BlackBerry. If Apple tries to absorb all its groupmind universal, that does a lousy job it is.

They hate the culture of Apple. His favorite word is “arrogance”. You look at Apple’s mysterious culture, polished their shops Slick, their advertising campaigns, and you think that Apple considers it is superior.

There is some truth in it. Apple keeps thinking it is. But they are not alone. Everyone who works in the computer industry thinks they are above everyone. The same applies to Christians, Jews, atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, Americans, Europeans, objectivity and New York. It is part of the human condition is to think that his tribe is better than any master.

Is this a good reason to hate Apple? No, it’s stupid. Do you care what Apple thinks about you? You get worked into a rage when the barista looks fun at Starbucks?

The more you go to “Apple” arrogant culture, the more you reveal about yourself, your own insecurities and problems with parents. For therapy, give yourself a hug, and joined now on Apple.

They had a bad experience with Apple products. Each company produces occasional lemon, and if you sit with, you will be probably sold to the company that you hate.

Is this a good reason to hate Apple? Heck, yes. If a company sold me a bad product, or call me bad service, who died for me. I’m still holding a grudge on a Compaq laptop I bought bum 2002nd I have a voodoo doll of Carly Fiorina, that whenever I feel tortured alone. Carly, you know that you occasionally lower back pain? That’s me.

have had relatively few people were also there, the bad experience with Apple. Apple has control over quality ranking of customer satisfaction are regularly among the highest for the retail experience, the iPhone App Store, IPAD, on its technical and support.

But what about the four iPhone antenna problems? Certainly caused that to fall satisfaction from Apple?

If they do that? I have no research, seen to support this data. It seems that if you are in an area where the service has, marginally, the design of the iPhone antenna 4 is it even worse. If the service is good, where are you, then you should not notice a problem. The iPhone 4 antenna problem appears to affect only some people, whose effects were magnified by a reverberation room of journalists and bloggers.

But when a people are problems with the iPhone or other Apple device or service, then I do not blame you hate Apple.

Graphic: Diego AguirreApple not safe for you. There are large sections of the people, for Apple products is simply not true. Apple is rarely the right choice for medium and large. The company is not the kind of close, hands on the relationship that need the customers.

The iPhone is not for everyone. Phone service in many areas of the U.S., including New York, San Francisco and Boston, poor, and if the calls are very important to you, then you are better off with an alternative. Just want to be when you bind, true multitasking, support an open operating system, or Flash, then Android is a better choice.

Is this a good reason to hate Apple? No, it’s stupid. I do not like McDonald’s, but I have not much energy denouncing him. I just do not go there.

You hate Apple’s closed architecture. By refusing to buy Apple, you see yourself as a blow for freedom. They believe that Apple read the control of the App Store an affront to their right, want to read what you see, what to see and any software you choose, without saying Daddy Steve Jobs, what do they want .

Is this a good reason to hate Apple? Well, half and half

App Store restrictions to protect the consumer. The iPhone is a device for people who do not want to manage too much time customizing, and learn to use the phone and do the limitations of the App Store, consumers are less concerned about pornography (which will not see many people, including the is also very popular among many others), malware and junk applications.

App Store restrictions go too far sometimes, as in Apple blocked aa Pulitzer winning political cartoonist and an application for a Republican candidate in Congress. I was wrong. And while Apple has not reversed in these cases, we do not know how many there are other cases where the application developer just went away quietly been wrong.

But even when the blocks Apple’s App Store an application that you are not from seeing the contents to prevent. Apple does not block content on the Web browser of the iPhone, only in the App Store. Thus says the porn and the politicians who are locked in the App Store are still in the browser.

Overall, my beef with the limitations of the App Store are not present, that they must be better. I want a native app Google Voice – Google has developed one, but Apple refused. I want an app that lets me update all my podcasts automatically synchronize through the air without the need to use iTunes, Apple has blocked an application of podcasting in 2008.

While Apple kills these useful applications that are more than a hundred a fart Apps, including Mobile iFart, Atomic Fart, Fart Piano, 1,000,000 Fart generator and something called “Bluetooth Fart” (presumably because permits, USB and Firewire only farts were not good enough). You will see elegant, Apple.

Again, Apple is not blocking their decisions. Apple is not the only option in one of the markets it serves, you can buy always an Android phone, a Windows desktop, and download the music from Amazon.com. If Apple tries to think of America, while a lousy job is an alternative to Apple’s control in the hallway next to an electronics store.

Raging against censorship Apple is just a cheap way that you are angry. You really want to be a freedom fighter? Go argue with the mullahs of Tehran. Until then, take your Che Guevara beret and compliment each other to stop.

Apple haters are divided into five general categories. Which is best for me? I missed one? Let an inarticulate, angry comment below.

Google Wave Shuts Down

google_wave_logo

Some technology experts were surprised that Google Wave closed yesterday just a year after its release, and decided that punished the company for its decision. But I’m not surprised, and I welcome the company’s decision to pull the plug, after realizing that the market was not interested in this job. From my perspective as someone who studies innovation was the shift from Google exactly the right decision and has some very important lessons for managing innovation in small and large organizations.

The first lesson of course is that the uncertainty of all attempts at innovation haunted.Charles Kettering, inventor and VP R & D and board member of CTM (1920-1947) famous indicated that when it comes to innovation, “You do not know when it will start something, whether work or not, and if he will never have any value. “Essentially, Kettering suggested that any attempt at an innovative combination of faces over time, technical and market uncertainty. Even a company like Google, known for its wealth of intellectual talent of its people, could not find out before hand if it were a market for the Wave. Some types of uncertainties are not easily resolved before the deed, and the only way to find out is to make investments, and launch an innovative product on the market. Google should be applauded and rewarded by a pioneering project risk and the public begins, so learn from the market.

Google’s decision to launch Wave also provides an important signal to their employees and prospects that values innovation and efforts of its employees, to imagine new possibilities for the future revolutionary. Walking into a global war for talent, the best scientists, engineers and marketing managers affiliate with organizations that enable them to bring into full expression and exercise their creativity. Supporting the creation and development of such creative projects to win and retain the best talent in the group is therefore an important part of innovation management.

Failure of course there is always the possibility of any attempt at innovation. For the basis of innovation is failure. Unpack the history of most products and services in a long history of failure, where many did not attempt to reveal different innovative (create) ideas and approaches on how to high quality solutions. These failures are needed in the way of innovation, executives and IT managers need an organizational culture that has high fault tolerance for building, so I think that their employees are not second bet big and risky ideas rather than proposing incremental.

Certainly, the business world is full of examples of companies that invest more resources and personnel to handle the lack of projects in the hope of a miraculous cure or simply to avoid the public embarrassment of failure is abundant. However, failure to recognize and move to another important lesson in managing innovation. With the Wave, not just Google getting traction, the user needs to justify its existence. innovation managers need to develop clear metrics of performance criteria and ruthless about shutting down projects, not the bar. The ability to (quickly) to terminate the project and not a redistribution of intellectual and financial resources on other promising initiatives is essential to successful innovation, and take it to individuals and families releases on the next big challenge. It also shows the internal organization, the key performance metrics and projects that are not the criteria, not languish. Of course, the lessons from the failure be embraced and applied quickly in other projects. In Google’s case Wave already started to bring some of the communication and collaboration capabilities in their products even more successful as Gmail and Docs.

Google should be commended for early formwork and Wave, as it shows that its leaders embrace both creativity and innovation also know quickly so that the failure and how to deal with it effectively and if the creative efforts fruitless. More of us should follow his steps.

Huge Wave of Developers in Google Wave

Google Wave is the ambitious new product to be introduced soon by Google. It is a email-IM hybrid which included google docs and promises to be a great communication and collaboration tool.  A brief overview of Google Wave was given at Gethu.com a few weeks back. Recently Google opened up its product for developers and there are huge number of developers lined up to use the service.

It already has around 6000 developers and plans to invite another 20,000 developers by August. Such a huge number of developers for the product would surely result in a wide variety of applications. One example of such an application would be Waves in Wordpress, which would enable you to embed waves in your Wordpress blog.

Google is also eager to try out its new product and plans to release it to 100,000 users by the end of September. It is expected to be an invite-based system much like how Gmail was initially released. And we can hope that by the time this early version is released, it would have a lot of features and would include a rich variety of widgets.

The Rise of Facebook in India

Facebook has grown rapidly all over the world last year. It has grown from over 100 Million users to 250 Million users within one year and this huge growth is remarkable. It is continuing to dominate and is indeed very ahead of its competitors Friendster and MySpace.

One of the factors behind this growth is Facebook India. The social networking site has seen a tremendous growth in India. It has nearly tripled its user base in India over the past few months. At the same time there has been a slowdown in the usage of Orkut, India’s largest social networking site.

Facebook plans to release its local language versions in six local languages. This will help close in on the gap between orkut and facebook. Facebook’s success can also be attributed to its cell-phone edge. It is easily accessible through mobile internet. It has also been marketing and publicising itself aggressively in India over the last few months. It had tied up with Aircel in its ads which was telecast throughout the IPL and the World T20. It helped the site establish its presence in India.

The holiday season attracted thousands of students to the site. It helped students to stay connected and discuss things easily. One of the main advantages Facebook has over Orkut is its ability to create group conversations around any status or link of a user. This feature is attractive and keeps groups of friends together. It has also recently announced its Developer Contest exculsively for India in order to create applications suited for the Indian Audience.

Google Reader – New Changes

Google Reader has been one of the most famous web-based aggregator capable of reading Atom or RSS Feeds. Recently it introduced a few new changes which might radically improve its usage and provide users with new ways of sharing data.

Find and Follow People

This new feature enables you to follow anyone who has chosen to share their items publicly. If you feel that you want to share your items only with friends then you can change the setting in order to disable public sharing. This feature, similar to Twitter, enables you to follow friends, celebrities and people whose items might be useful to you. You can use the new people search feature to find people to follow. You can also preview the shared items, before you choose to follow someone.

‘Like’ Feature

This feature enables you to select items and mark them as ‘like’, similar to the feature already available in Facebook. This can be used a way to show the author or the publisher of a particular post that you like it. All ‘liked’ items are public and anyone reading the item can see that you are a fan of it. The shortcut key ‘L’ enables you to like an item with just a press of a key.

Custom URL for your Shared Page

Google Reader now enables you to have a custom URL displaying your shared items publicly. For example, my shared items can be found here – http:

Hopefully these features will increase the usage of feeds and Subscription to RSS Feeds. You can follow Gethu.com’s RSS Feeds here : http://feeds.feedburner.com/GethuBlog

Know the rules of game

Do you know we are in the midst of deep recession? I hope every soul knows about it but something unnoticeable is happening around the world. If you’re a middle class you may sometimes think how come the number of BMW or Mercedes Benz keeps increasing in this slump? In America, federal government has thrown money at all the banks that are responsible for this worst financial crisis. Other governments around the world also have doled out millions of dollars or yen or euro or so on. But I don’t really perceive whether the current economic crisis has recovered especially the labor market where most want recovery.

In the middle of this economic crisis there were so many controversial issues like AIG bonus, lax regulation, climate change, carbon cap and trade, G8, G20 and all other things. But yesterday, Goldman Sachs, an investment banks reported bumper profit and send shock waves across the world saying that they have set aside $11.5bn for compensation, it seems each employee will receive 400K of 29,400 total employees. That’s an enormous pay package when most ordinary people don’t have money to buy food.

I was discussing with my professor who did his undergraduate at IIT, Madras and post graduate and PH.D degree from George tech, USA about the passion of students on studies. To much of my surprise he said students in his batch hardly studied because they understood where the easy money is available when reached IITs. Of course it is banking and financial services, so more than half the batch prepared for IIM CAT. To make humungous money, don’t study hard,  just  know the rules of game. Improve your soft skills!
