Chrome for Linux – Fast
Chrome – Google’s Web browser which was until recently available only for Windows systems released the developer version of its browser for linux users. I downloaded it and tried it in Ubuntu 9.04. It lacks many of the basic features which we take for granted. But of course it is just a developer preview. And one thing I can clearly say is that it is FAST.
The developers of the browser had themselves warned us not to download it. Unless of course we are developers interested in taking a sneak peak and don’t bother about frequently crashing software. It didn’t crash for me though.
They are trying to get the browser stable enough to get a official beta release as soon as possible.
So, If you are a developer and would go ahead with the raw version visit this site.
